When the granite dries from where the sponge was the soap stain will be gone.

If you have a light water stain that is caused by condensation you can often remove it using a mixture of mild dish soap warm water and a small amount of rubbing alcohol. All you need to do is just clean the granite countertops using soap and water. If you clean your granite surface with dish soap and water or any type of soap for that matter it may leave behind a dull film or scum. A poultice is simply an absorbent material.

Step 3 reapply rubbing alcohol to the cloth and wipe the soap stain until it is completely removed. Work the cloth in a circular motion allowing the alcohol to fully penetrate the stain.
